One of Toronto's own architects, Edward James Lennox, originally designed this red brick building in 1883 as offices for the farm equipment company "Massey Harris." The major conversion to Massey Harris Lofts located at 915 King Street West was made in the early 2000's. In 1973, the City of Toronto named it a heritage property.
